Yes I do! Most venues require this and I have a $1,000,000 liability policy for all events.
First and foremost you get to actually meet the DJ you'll be booking - me. It's a personal relationship that makes your event great. The more you feel good about your event DJ, the more likely you'll have a great event. Second, I am able to keep a real close pulse on quality. My clients come to me because they like the personal touch they don't get from the bigger companies, the one on one relationship.
Yes, though you may stump me from time to time. I have too much music to list. The conversations we’ll have prior to your reception assures you that I'll have your special songs and anything else you desire.
No, there are no hidden set-up or travel charges whatsoever.
Yes, I offer different packages, depending on the event. Please check the proper page for the various packages available.
$200 check or cash to save your date. The rest is due before or on the day of your event.
Yes, and you better hope any DJ you're hiring does or you have to question why...
Yes, if you cancel your event and I am able to replace it with another event, you'll get your $200 deposit back.
Of course! I'll give you plenty of ideas of what others have used but I won’t make the final decisions for you.
The long and short of it - whatever gets the people at your event dancing. I want what you want - people having fun. The more they dance to a particular genre, the more likely I am to keep playing it. Whether it's 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, current, rock, classic rock, electronic or hip hop, - whatever it takes to get them up and moving.
For weddings, no. Keep in mind that this is actually a poor way to judge. The problem is you'd need to attend at least 3 events of the DJ's you're looking at hiring and take an average. Who has that kind of time? I've known plenty of terrible DJ’s that get lucky with a good crowd on occasion - so buyer beware.
Yes, I pride myself on keeping things running in a nice order to make the night run smooth. The client shouldn't have to worry about the details on the event day. This should be the time to enjoy and have the pros you hired make things happen. This strength is one of the reasons I am on The Red Horse Barns preferred DJ list - they know I make their job easy.
YES - We meet once initially to see if you want to book my services, then follow up to go over details of your day.
I am a veteran in the industry. I have many DJ’s in my Rolodex and short of an accident en-route that left me hospitalized on the day of your event; I will be there for you. In fact, I even performed at an event only a week after having bi-lateral pneumonia! My fellow DJ's all help to back one another up, though it is rare we ever need to. This is a small personal DJ service where I establish a relationship of integrity, trust and concern toward a great outcome.
I use a top of the line Pioneer DJM-700 effects mixer with Pioneer CDJ800 MK-2 CD players. A Macbook Pro with Serato Scratch Live, QSC K-12 powered 1000 watt speakers (arguably the best money can buy), a Shure SM-58 wireless microphone, a Gemini clip-on wireless microphone, American DJ Triple Flex LED light, American DJ LED Starball, American DJ Micro-Gobo laser, Chauvet Min Laser RBX, Chauvet Hurricane 1300 fog (when requested).
With over 20,000 songs I will always do my best to meet any of my guest’s requests! Furthermore, we will be going over music before the event in order to ensure that I already will have you and your guests requests.
I never require a meal, in fact I have eaten at only a handful of events in ten years.
